No Insurance - Severe Heat Wave and 4th of July

Many areas in the US are under high and excessive heat warnings, including both Memphis and Indy. Excessive heat can cause flight delays, and FedEx may not be able to accommodate requests to keep delayed shipments indoors and temp controlled. Because of this, and because of the approaching 4th of July holiday, insurance has been turned off for the safety of the animals. If at all possible, hold off on shipping high value and/or heat sensitive species until the heat wave has died down.

If you must ship, please pay close attention to the daytime HIGH temperatures at your origin and destination! Do not ship out of or into areas with predicted daytime highs over 100°F, and if daytime highs are between 92°F and 100°F, you must drop off at the hub/ship to the hub for pickup.

Remember: Live Arrival Insurance will be void on shipments sent after insurance has been turned off.
